Newfangled Wasteland is fast becoming
the most talked about "supergroup" project in San Francisco. This
all star line up was founded by guitarist Chris Haugen
(Jambay, Melvin Seals), and features keyboardist Trevor
Garrod (Tea Leaf Green), bassist Steve Adams (ALO, Big
Light) and drummer Dave Brogan (ALO). Using the prolific
span of Beck tunes as a point of departure, Newfangled
Wasteland explores and stretches the material, and builds
upon Beck's familiar hooks and grooves to create a fresh
and original sound. Just clap your hands.
