From guitar solos that sweep the gamut
of his instrument's range without sacrificing its natural
expressiveness, to rhythmic riffs that chank along with
the steadiness of a jackhammer, Lebowitz's playing is as
notable for its variety as its laid-back execution. A founding
member of SF pop group ALO, Lebowitz has been performing
with the group since they met as teenagers. His skills
and prowess have grown along with that of his bandmates
and he has become a first-call player who has been signed
on to tour with a bevy of world-reknowned artists. When
Dan’s not busy with ALO, he performs with his own
solo project, which will be headlining Poleng on Saturday
night.
